Shuls Services

Alaska's only orthodox shul:

Chabad provides religious services and Jewish traditional ceremonies to members of the Alaskan Jewish Community. Shabbat morning weekly services, High Holidays (Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur) services  as well as other Jewish Holiday services and rituals.

The Shul provides also religious life cycle events ceremonies such as Bar Mitzvahs, Bris circumcisions, wedding ceremonies, conversions, Mikvah ritual spa, funeral and burial services, and any other religious needs for members of the Alaska Jewish Community.

Minyanim

There is only Scheduled Minyanim on Shabbos.

There isn't a Minyan for Kabalas Shabbas on Fridays unless there is a large group of tourists. (Please call the office to verify on Friday Morning). Times for Kabalas Shabbas service and dinner vary each week corresponding to the earliest Shabbas candle lighting time (Plag HaMincha)

There is a minyan every Shabbos morning at 10:30am.

Minyan for Minchah on Shabbos afternoon is right after Shabbos luncheon, at 2:45pm.
